After 40 years, Chris Clark Solicitors will formally close on 30th April 2026. From 1st May 2026, our related organisation, Eastgate Chambers, will acquire the business of Chris Clark Solicitors.
We are hoping this will be a seamless transition, so that we continue to provide Legal Services to our many clients both in Stafford and Wrexham.
Details of the services offered by Eastgate Chambers can be found on their website www.eastgatechambers.co.uk along with contact details for their offices in Stafford and Wrexham. Please note that Eastgate Chambers does not have an office in Cannock.
WHAT THIS MEANS TO YOU – EXISTING CHRIS CLARK SOLICITORS CLIENTS
Unless we hear from you otherwise, your file will be transferred to Eastgate Chambers and, in most cases, your file will still be managed by your current Case Handler until completion.
If you choose to instruct another firm to act for you, we will of course respect your choice and will facilitate transfer of your file on receipt of a signed authority from you and settlement of our costs incurred to date.
All existing Deeds and Wills of Chris Clark Soilcitors’ clients will be held in a File Storage facility at 25 Eastgate Street, Stafford, ST16 2LZ but are available for collection on request to Eastgate Chambers. In cases where Chris Clark Solicitors have been appointed as Executors of a Will, clients will be contacted directly with further information.

Eastgate Chambers specialises in Criminal Defence and Immigration Law and so from 1st May 2026, we will no longer be taking on any new Conveyancing matters.
