History of Chris Clark
Chris Clark Lawyers LTD are a local Staffordshire firm, which was initially set up by Chris Clark in 1986.
Chris Clark qualified as a Solicitor in 1979 and obtained Higher Rights of Audience in 2006 enabling him to conduct cases in the Crown Court and Court of Appeal as a Solicitor Advocate. In 2008 Chris Clark merged with SB Sheldon Solicitors based in Cannock & Mr Stephen Sheldon became a consultant. Following his retirement in 2014 Solicitors Paul Lamb and Mark Harrison became directors. Mark Harrison was admitted as a solicitor in 1988 and has many years experience in both Conveyancing and Criminal Law. Paul Lamb was admitted as a solicitor in 2001, with experience in general litigation but specialising in criminal litigation since 2003. In 2009 he obtained his Higher Rights of Audience and has appeared regularly in the Crown Court since. Daniel Webb Licensed Conveyancer was made a director in 2013. The firm can now call upon many years of experience. In 2010 Chris Clark set up Eastgate Chambers which has a combination of experienced and specialist Solicitor-Advocates and Barristers available to conduct cases.
The firm’s policy is to provide a range of high quality legal services in the fields of criminal, probate, conveyancing and estate agency work and to ensure that services are delivered in a manner which the clients can understand by being friendly and approachable.
The practice has a long established client base with many repeat clients and has offices in Stafford and Cannock. We offer publicly funded assistance through legal aid where available. The firm has always prided itself on serving the community, and offers an excellent service to the general public, both in and out of office hours.
